♡ Where do you get your plushies from?
I buy most of my plushies secondhand, usually at thrift stores, garage sales, or on Mercari! I like saving money, so I don't buy brand new plushies a lot.
♡ Why do you collect plushies?
Hmm... I'm not sure! I started taking a new medicine (Abilify) in 2022 and it suddenly made me obsessed with stuffed animals! I do enjoy collecting plushies though. They are cute, cuddly, and fun to organize!!
♡ Why dogs and frogs?
From 2019 to 2022, I was very obsessed with frogs! I collected every frog themed item I could find, including plushies. When I started taking Abilify in 2022, my obsession went from frogs to frog plushies, and then quickly switched to dog plushies! I have absolutely no idea why or how this happened.
♡ Where do you store your plushies?
Everywhere! I have plushies on my bed, on shelves, on my desk, etc. Honestly... I am running out of space...
♡ How often do you wash your plushies?
This varies depending on the plush! The ones on my bed get washed regularly because my dog will get drool and fur on them (ew). The plushies that sit on shelves don't need to be washed as often, because they don't come in contact with my dog. However, the shelf plushies get dusty, so they have to be dusted regularly. Also, I always wash a plush after they've been on an adventure outside, OR if they just arrived home for the first time.
♡ How do you name your plushies?
I usually give plushies names based on their vibes or appearance. A lot of times, I will name them the first thing that pops into my head when I see them! I do also like giving them names with cool meanings every once in a while. If I can't decide on a name, I will ask a friend for help!
♡ What kind of plushies are your favorite?
My favorite plushies are ones that are soft and somewhat floppy! I don't like when plushies are super stiff. I also like plushies that look silly!
♡ Why do you take photos in the old black chair?
For the plushies' introductory photos, I'd prefer if they were all taken in the same spot! I like the simple background too, so you can focus more on the plush. I don't have blank walls or anything like that where I could take the photos instead.
